Who should not have the treatment?
The treatment is not performed on pregnant individuals or those with an acute inflammatory condition in the body. Lip and perioral area fillers are not administered if there is an active herpes outbreak.
The effectiveness of botulinum toxin is based on its ability to block nerve impulses to the muscles, weakening muscle activity. The effects typically begin within 3–10 days of treatment and usually last for 3–6 months, after which the effect fades, and the condition returns to its original state.

What is botulinum toxin (Botox)?
Botulinum toxin is a muscle-relaxing medication that smooths wrinkles and skin. It works by affecting the nerve impulses of facial muscles, relaxing them and preventing muscle contraction, but only in the treated area. The medication does not affect skin sensitivity, for example.
What is botulinum toxin used for?
In aesthetic treatments, botulinum toxin is used for wrinkles on the forehead, the "Sibelius wrinkle" between the eyebrows, crow's feet around the eyes, brow lifting, corner of the mouth lifting, and smoothing wrinkles above the lips.
Medically, botulinum toxin can be used for conditions like excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). Teeth grinding (bruxism) is also an indication for treatments we perform. Treating the masseter muscle can also slightly narrow the lower face if the jawline muscles are already strong.

Who should not have botulinum toxin treatment?
If you have multiple allergies to medications, we do not perform botulinum toxin treatments. We also do not provide botulinum toxin treatments for pregnant individuals.

Profhilo is an injectable anti-aging treatment that contains stabilized hyaluronic acid. It hydrates the skin by adding volume, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, and tightening the skin. Profhilo is BDDE-free, meaning it does not contain synthetic substances.
What happens during the treatment?
The treatment is typically performed in two parts, 3–4 weeks apart. The product is injected into ten points on the face, from where it spreads evenly into the tissue. The results gradually appear, and the effects typically last for about six months. After this, the treatment is recommended every six months to maintain the results.

COG threads, which have small barbs, are thicker and provide a stronger lifting effect. Does the treatment hurt?
In PDO treatments, we use a numbing cream before the procedure to reduce pain and discomfort. For COG thread treatments, we provide local anesthesia to eliminate most discomfort and pain during the procedure. However, the local anesthesia injection may cause some brief stinging, but this sensation is short-lived as the anesthesia begins to take effect quickly.
How long do the results last?
The results of the treatment are individual and depend on the person’s unique characteristics and the type of thread treatment performed. On average, the results last 12–18 months, but they can be prolonged with maintenance treatments.

The treatment itself takes approximately 40–60 minutes, but a numbing agent is applied before the procedure, which takes around 30–60 minutes to take effect.
