Meet our gynecologist Eeva Linna

I am a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, also known as a gynecologist, and in addition, I have training as a sexual counselor.

I graduated as a doctor in 2005 and initially worked as a health center doctor for about 1.5 years. After that, I worked as a specialist trainee at the West-Pohja Central Hospital and Oulu University Hospital. In 2012, I became a specialist. As a specialist, I have continued to work at the West-Pohja Central Hospital, with short stints at Oulu University Hospital, and since 2020 at the Sf-cliniken and in 2022 at the Hammerfest Hospital in Northern Norway, performing a wide range of obstetrics and gynecology work, from outpatient clinic work to surgical procedures.
I completed my training as a sexual counselor in 2019.

My language skills include fluent English and Swedish/Norwegian.

The best part of my work is, of course, the patients; each individual’s story is unique and interesting. What matters most to me is that my office has a calm and caring atmosphere, where patients feel heard and receive help with the issues they are seeking.

At the Sf-cliniken, we can provide extensive care for patients with gynecological and/or sexual health issues. We have access to ultrasound, a laboratory, and an operating room, where we can perform various day surgeries, such as treatments for incontinence and prolapse.

My passion outside of work is spending time in the fells, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and ultra-running. The pure and arctic beauty of the nature of the Northern Calotte is a relaxing and empowering counterbalance to the social work I do.
