UltraCol

The injected substance, shortened to PDO, is a well-tested and researched material that has been used in medical procedures, such as surgeries, for decades. Therefore, there are scientific studies and long-term follow-ups on PDO as a material, both in medical and aesthetic contexts. Based on these experiences and studies, reactions to foreign bodies, allergies, and harmful effects can be completely ruled out. The material is fully biodegradable.

Who is UltraCol PDO treatment suitable for?

UltraCol PDO injection is suitable for both women and men, whether young or older. Younger individuals can use the treatment to maintain youthful skin, while older individuals can achieve a more youthful appearance. The method is also ideal for those who want to minimize the number of injections or are sensitive to pain, as recovery after the treatment is very mild.

How many treatments are needed?

Before any potential treatment, a consultation is always recommended to create an individualized treatment plan. Typically, a series of 3 treatments spaced 3 months apart is recommended.

What areas can be treated with UltraCol PDO?

Common treatment areas for UltraCol PDO include the middle and lower parts of the face, including the cheeks, nasolabial folds, jawline, and marionette lines. It is also highly effective for delicate areas, such as under the eyes (for treating dark circles and hollows), where the treatment does not attract fluid as some other methods may do. The method can also be used on the neck, the back of the hands, and for skin tightening and improving structure on the body (it does not treat fat).

How long does it take for the results of the treatment to appear?

Results from UltraCol PDO treatment are typically achieved with 1–3 treatments spaced 3 months apart. Full effect is reached three months after the treatment.
